BSData Repositories
BSData is a community group that makes and hosts game data. It is not required: NewRecruit loads data from any GitHub repository, so you can host your own wherever you like. BSData is simply one place a lot of data happens to live, and its repositories are useful as reference examples: real, maintained data you can open in the NR editor to see how established systems model their rules.

Requesting a BSData repo
To have your data hosted under the BSData organization, open an issue on catalogue-development requesting a new repository.
You don't need any of BSData's tooling to publish. A repository with your data files at the root loads straight into NewRecruit; see Publishing Your Data.
